Thiof rice is a double-sort fragrant Thai rice distributed by CMGA. By buying directly from producers, you allow them to set their own prices. In return, consumers are guaranteed seasonal products with good product knowledge and traceability, for a more controlled food supply.

Senegal is currently, with a rice consumption of 90 kg per capita, one of the biggest rice consumers in West Africa.

One of the peculiarities of Senegal is that more than 98% of imports are in the 100% broken category. Thiof rice was mainly imported from Thailand.

The productive potential of land is determined by soil and climate conditions, and by the level of inputs and management applied to that resource.

The type of inputs, their quantity and timing also have a major effect on yield.

CMGA's mission is to transfer best agricultural practices and technologies to Senegal in order to guarantee yields and a significant return on investment.
